The morning of Saturday July 30th 2011, a demo recording of "Crystal Ball", a song that Joe Delia, pianist/organist and superb musician brought me into on a co-write, with the purpose of using the song in a film he was scoring, was committed to posterity as a simple demo recording, with Joe playing piano, me singing, at Joe's condo in Montauk NY.
Later that evening, after the debut show of my band "Mick Hargreaves & The King Guys" at the wonderful Grey Horse Tavern, I became a victim of a horrible, violent crime that occurred when I was brutally attacked in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 31st, 2011.
Now, I present a full-band version of "Crystal Ball", recorded with The King Guys, with Joe Delia guesting on organ.
